New York's Historic City Hall Tour

Please join me for a FREE one-hour tour of New York's historic City Hall
designed in 1802 and completed in 1812.
This tour is offered year-round every Wednesday at 12:00 pm (noon). 
No reservations are required.
I LEAD THIS TOUR ON A VOLUNTEER BASIS FOR THE NYC DESIGN COMMISSION
WHICH SPONSORS THIS TOUR.
 WHEN I AM NOT IN NY, ANOTHER DESIGN COMMISSION DOCENT LEADS THE TOUR.
IT IS OFFERED EVERY WEDNESDAY AT NOON YEAR-ROUND.

2014 Dates:  Wednesdays, September 17, 24; October 1, 8, 29; November 4, 11, 18, 25; December 2, 9, 16, 23, 30. 

Time: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Sign-in Location:  Sign-in for this tour is at the NYC tourism kiosk located at the south end of City Hall Park on the east side of Broadway at Barclay Street.

Tour Size: This tour is limited to 20 people and is offered year-round on a first-come, first-served basis.

New York's Historic Tweed Courthouse

Please join me for a FREE one-hour tour of New York's historic Tweed Courthouse constructed between 1861-1881. 
This tour is offered year-round.

This 90-minute fun and informative walking tour will help you 'read' and evaluate the wonderful and sometimes woesome mid-century modern architecture of midtown Manhattan built during the 1950s and later.

Get a fresh perspective on the architectural development of New York's Civic Center
during this walking tour in Lower Manhattan.

•Situated around what once the Collect Pond of New Amsterdam and later the notorious Five Points area, New York's Civic Center has both a vivid history and rich architecture that will captivate you.  Built over the last 150 years, these civic monuments display a variety of historic and modern styles.

•Beginning at Foley Square, you'll learn about a distinguished array of city, state and federal buildings such as the  International Trade Court, US Federal Building, NY State Supreme Court Building, Police HQ, Tweed Courthouse, Surrogate Court, the Municipal Building and more.

•The tour concludes in beautiful City Hall Park.
